Every year, the NBA 2K franchise impresses its fanbase with its renowned graphics.
The game itself has barely changed throughout the course of the years, outside of some game modes and whatnot.
Even so, it’s crazy to think that LeBron James has been a part of the franchise almost since its very dawn, as the first NBA2K game was released in 1999, and James made it to the league in 2003.
With that in mind, the fans took to Twitter to react to NBACentral’s tweet showing James in the latest edition of the game, and the comments didn’t disappoint.

James is on pace to break the record for the most seasons played in the NBA.
Vince Carter was in the league for 22 seasons, but he wasn’t able to keep up that same intensity level and be a perennial star throughout those years, unlike LeBron.
James’ unmatched athleticism and the way he takes care of his body have helped him stay relevant for two decades, playing at the highest level and being in the “best player in the league” conversation for way longer than any of his predecessors.
Of course, chances are that he’s going to take a couple of steps backs in the following years, as Father Time spares no victims, and the Los Angeles Lakers will have to rely upon his supporting cast to keep him fresh for when it matters the most.
Still, the sole fact that he keeps going strong after all this time just speaks volumes of him as one of the greatest athletes of all time.
