The Minnesota Vikings managed to get back on track in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears with a victory at Soldier Field.
The team now sits at 2-4 with a Monday Night Football matchup against the San Francisco 49ers looming in Week 7.
Ahead of Week 7, Here is a look at the national broadcast maps for Sunday, and the games that fans in the Twin Cities will be able to tune into. As usual, the maps are courtesy of 506sports.com. With the Vikings not playing, it will allow fans to have a stress-free Sunday before the Monday night showdown.
CBS (Early)
- Red: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
- Blue: Washington Commanders at New York Giants
- Green: Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts
For fans wanting to tune into an AFC East matchup, folks in the Twin Cities will be able to check out the Buffalo Bills as they take on the New England Patriots at Foxborough.
Buffalo has gotten off to a 4-2 start this year, but they are coming off a 14-9 win against the New York Giants that likely feels like a disappointment. Meanwhile, New England has fallen off the rails a bit this year, starting with a 1-5 record. With the Bills looking a bit vulnerable, though, maybe this is their chance to steal an upset win at home.
Elsewhere during the early slate on CBS, we have an NFC East matchup between the Washington Commanders and New York Giants while the Cleveland Browns travel to Indianapolis and take on the Colts.
CBS (Late)
- Red: Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
- Blue: Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos
Only two games take place on the late CBS slate, and of course, with the Vikings not playing, that means fans in the Twin Cities will have to tune into the cheesehead game as the Green Bay Packers travel to the Mile High city to take on the Denver Broncos.
Green Bay had their bye last week, which allowed them to heal up. Injuries have derailed their early season, including those to LT David Bakhtiari (who is out for the year) as well as RB Aaron Jones and CB Jaire Alexander. As a result, they are 2-3 so far this year.
On the other side, things could not have started much worse for the Denver Broncos in 2023. They are 1-5, and it is tough to spot any positives on this team right now. The offense has been inconsistent all season, and their defense has been one of the worst in the league. This feels like an opportunity for the Packers to get back to .500.
FOX (Single)
- Red: Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens
- Green: Las Vegas Raiders at Chicago Bears
- Yellow: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Blue: Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams (LATE)
- Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (LATE)
There is only one map for FOX on Sunday, and folks in the Twin Cities will get another NFC North team to watch during the early slate. The Detroit Lions head to Baltimore and take on the Ravens at noon in what looks like one of the best games of the weekend.
Detroit has turned into one of the best teams in the NFC by starting the season with a 5-1 record, and the biggest improvements for this team have come on the defensive side of the ball. However, another game without David Montgomery could make this one a tricky game to win.
For Baltimore, it has been a tale of two different teams to begin the year. They are 4-2 and stand on top of the AFC North, but their offense has been a very inconsistent group to start the year. They will need a complete game to defeat this Lions squad.
