Samson to be excluded from IND vs AUS ODIs
While Samson is working hard to make a comeback in national side, it seems he will have to wait a little longer.
A senior BCCI official confirmed to Insidesport that Samson will not be feature in India vs Australia series. The squad will remain the same as India squad for World Cup 2023 to continue the preparations.
The three-match India vs Australia series begins on September 22. The selection committee does not want to add any new player before the World Cup and are set to continue with the WC squad.
“See, KL is fully fit and there won’t be three wicket-keepers. That is the unfortunate reason why Sanju has to miss out. He has been captaining a side and understands the tough calls the selection committee needs to take. He will feature in the T20 series against Australia,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport on Wednesday.
